Ondu Muttina Kathe


Ondu Muttina Kathe Kannada , English Story of a Pearl is a 1987 Indian Kannada film directed by Shankar Nag, starring Rajkumar in the lead role. It is loosely based on John Steinbecks book The Pearl. It is considered as the cult classic in the history of Kannada cinema. Though the film was not a big success, the movie is still remembered for its brilliant story and its technical superiority. It is said to be the first Indian film to be shot underwater. This film is also notable for the underwater swimming of Rajkumar in ocean without oxygen at the age of 58 and a fighting scene between Rajkumar and an octopus.
